Over the weekend we have been testing our new stream speed of 160kbps. After a very successful period and some positive feedback, we decided that we should continue to broadcast at the new bit rate, giving you a much clearer and quality sound.
Basically, bit rate is the rate at which data is streamed, the higher, the better. Whilst our 128k stream was superb, we feel that 160 k gives better clarity and more sound in the midrange, allowing us to bring you a crisp and digitally refined upfrontradio :)
